Who we are

Arête is a craft coffee bar rooted in the outdoor culture of North Bend. We proudly serve Lighthouse Roasters coffee alongside house-made syrups, locally made pastries, and thoughtfully prepared breakfast and lunch.

You’ll find us in two locations—one inside a renowned ski and climbing shop and the other within a local bike shop—each designed to reflect the rhythm and spirit of the surrounding community.

Whether you’re heading to the trail, the slopes, or exploring the Snoqualmie Valley, Arête exists to fuel adventure and create welcoming spaces where people can gather, connect, and recharge.

We’re proud to support our local community whenever possible. In 2025, nearly 60% of our spending went directly to small businesses, artists, and other folks right here the in Snoqualmie Valley - and 75% if you include our small business partners across the greater Seattle Area!! Sustainability

Sustainability matters deeply to us, and coffee shops face a unique challenge in reducing waste. Single-use coffee cups discarded daily in the U.S. stack to the peak of Mount Everest 2,000 times per day?! EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

    That stack of cups would have summited Little Si over 14 times, produced 13,000 pounds of CO2 emissions, destroyed 2,400 square feet of habitat and produced 1,400 pounds of trash.
